Perfect Punctuation
Over the last 50 years I have experienced the Grand Canyon by car, on skis, by mule, by air, and on foot (including a dozen descents to the Colorado River on a variety of trails and 7 trans-canyon hikes).
The thing that was missing was a river trip. I am now 69 years old and just finished the 7 day float with Western River Expeditions. I could not have chosen a better trip. It was a bucket list event for me and it was great. This company and their employees run a top notch operation. I highly recommend them. "Sucking rubber" through lava falls was an indelible experience.
If this turns out to be my last Grand Canyon adventure, I will consider this trip to be the perfect punctuation to my fascinating experiences in this remarkable place.
